What I love about Triple Crown is the variety of people I interact with. Every day there is something different to learn about. Because every office needs one, I consider myself the “Queen Bee” who works tirelessly to make sure that our clients are happy and have what they need! I also love digging into research and finding information from an old project that may be useful for a new one.

I’ve been in the construction industry for 22 years and have worked at Triple Crown for over seven. I started my career in construction as an executive assistant with a large general contractor and then moved on to a position with a land developer. Following that, I did stints with a hotel renovator as well as a custom home builder (who built homes that were basically small commercial buildings, sometimes reaching 26,000 square feet!). I was there until I came to Triple Crown, where I’m lucky to be today.

As often as possible, I like to get together with friends to hang out or find a great restaurant for lunch or dinner. I like to watch movies and go to concerts (rock, country, R & B), too. Taking my dog, Lady, to the dog park is another great way for me to relax and unwind.

My viewpoint in life is to find the positive side in every situation. This often means I have to remind myself of a very important life lesson: Treat everyone with respect and kindness.

Another important life lesson I’ve learned is that worrying does not take away tomorrow’s troubles, it takes away today’s peace. My best advice is, “focus on what you’re doing and do it to the best of your ability.”

My personal motto is “everything is better with bacon.”
