Giving back to our community has always been a major part of Triple Crown’s mission. Education is one of the cornerstones of a healthy and vibrant community, so we’re happy to have once more partnered with the Maryland Hotel Lodging Association for the annual MHLA Golf Outing this past October at the Whiskey Creek Golf Club in Ijamsville, MD to raise funds for deserving students in the area.
Together we raised $5,000 for the MHLA Scholarship Fund to support Maryland hotel employees furthering their careers through education! The MHLA also presented one of the scholarship recipients, Shaquala Parker from Hyatt Regency Bethesda, with a $1,500 check for her studies.
The sky was clear and the weather was perfect for a fun day of games, golf, and margaritas (the latter provided by Triple Crown!). Check out photos from the event here!
The Maryland Hotel Lodging Association (MHLA) is an organization representing hotels across the state and related industry partners. The organization provides advocacy, information, recognition, and networking opportunities that benefit lodging industry owners, managers, associates, related businesses, and communities in Maryland. Triple Crown is proud to be a member of MHLA, which you can read more about on the organization’s site.
