2018 marked an increase in the Triple Crown Construction workforce, with a number of new hires across a spectrum of roles.

Triple Crown welcomed eight individuals to the team last year. Each additional team member brings their own specialized experience that makes for a well-rounded and skilled team, from general contracting to engineering.

Additional roles ranged from estimating to project management as well as support functions within the home office that keep the wheels turning. “A business is only as good as the people who make it run,” said Greg Maciulla, construction operations manager at Triple Crown Construction. “As we grow our client base and billings, our workforce must evolve to meet the challenges of continued success. We’re excited to bring on this latest group of talented folks who will help us meet our goals of surpassing customers’ expectations.”

Triple Crown Construction recently welcomed the following individuals to its office in Frederick:

Bill Bonolis. Project Manager.
Bill has spent years in the field before joining Triple Crown, creating custom interiors for homeowners throughout the region. He’ll put the skill set of field supervision and project management he gained during that time to work on larger scale operations now, with a particular eye on delivering top-notch customer service.

Amanda Gibson. Project Coordinator
As an MBA student at Mount St. Mary’s, Amanda is earning her project management certificate and PMP certification through the Project Management Institute and brings her passion for continuing education — and her expertise as a pre-construction coordinator — to her role.

Garrett Judd, Superintendent.
After working as an engineering assistant for a local school district, Garrett has joined Triple Crown for the opportunity to learn and build his career in construction. An avid traveler, he’ll work both in the home office and on the road to oversee various company projects.

Steve LaFrance, Superintendent.
Steve has worked with a number of hotel renovation companies in the past as well as residential construction outfits and will work closely with crews at job sites to ensure that the operation goes smoothly, is on-budget, and that customers are happy with the project at every step of the process.

Catherine Payne, Contract Administrator.
A varied career within the construction space — roles with management firms, general contractors, REITs, and commercial real estate developers — has brought Catherine here where she will oversee the issuing and compliance with contracts and serve as the point of contact for insurance providers.

Sarah Rapp, Human Resources Manager.
With a master’s degree in human resources management and a SHRM-CP certification, Sarah joins the Triple Crown team with deep expertise in HR, having handled recruiting, onboarding, benefits, training, employee relations, payroll, and more for organizations in the healthcare, IT, nonprofit, and construction industries.

Cassandra Soto, Brand & Marketing Strategist.
Cassandra brings to Triple Crown her experience as the hub of communications between clients, vendors, and contractors during her tenure as a project manager at a construction management company.

Cameron Wilson, Estimator.
Cameron joins the team after time as an estimator at a local general contractor firm. He will serve an important role in the bidding process at the organization, making sure the team is well-prepared with accurate and useful information to win more projects.

“Each of these new members of the Triple Crown Construction family moves us forward, both out in the field making sure our work meets our Partner-Grade goals and back in the office performing essential duties to keep the company humming and growing,” Maciulla said.
